Bridal Parlor & Grooms Lounge

It’s all in the details.  Small touches of lush velvet couches, elegant slipper chairs, and crystal chandeliers adorn your personal suite.  Enjoy a drink from the personal mini bar while you and your party are getting ready in the spacious parlor.  The separate dressing room features a full length mirror and hanging bar for gowns. An oversized bridal bathroom gives the Bride, and a couple of dress attendants, the space and privacy she needs throughout the entire evening.

There’s no shortage of luxury in the Groom’s Lounge. Leather couches and deep sitting chairs invite you to sit long. Celebratory drinks can be poured from the stocked mini bar and cooler. View the game on the big screen television or challenge your skills on the gaming system.

Personal Event Specialist

Your personal Event Specialist will work with you to plan the perfect event. We work closely with the Bride and Groom to cover every detail.  We coordinate meetings and schedules, accommodate incoming vendors, and communicate with your wedding coordinator, or day of coordinator, to provide an easy worry free day. Your personal Event Specialist will be on site for the entirety of your event.


KCPD officers will be on duty one half hour prior to your guests arrival and stays until the building clears at the conclusion of your reception.

Audio & Visual

HD projection system. Large motorized screen at the feature wall for displaying special memories. Wireless and HDMI plug in capabilities. Integrated sound system, and wireless microphones available.


The Gatsby on Oak provides free parking along Oak street in front of our building. A reserved lot, adjacent to the building at 918 Oak, is reserved for you and your guests. Over 1500 additional parking options are available within a two block radius of our space.


We provide in house rental service. Your personal Event Specialist works with you, or your wedding coordinator, to acquire all the rentals you may need for your special event. (Example:  napkins, specialty linens, room décor, centerpieces, arbors, china, flatware, etc.). Rental pricing is directly passed to you.  We do all the ordering, arrange delivery, and handle the returns.

Silver Spirits Plus

Domestic bottle and draft beer, bottled Boulevard Wheat and pale ale, 2 red and 2 white wine varietal choices, 6 selections of silver level spirits.

Platinum Premium Spirits

Domestic and import bottle beers, 2 draft beer selections, platinum level red and white wine varietal choice, your personalized signature cocktail, 6 platinum level spirit choices.

Kansas City Craft

6 varieties of bottled and draft craft beer choices from local breweries, red and white wine varietal selection from local vineyards, and 6 selections of local distillery products, your personal signature cocktail.

Diamond Host Bar

All domestic and import bottle and draft beers, 2 diamond level red and white wine varietal selections, Champagne or Prosecco selection, alcoholic seltzer choices, all levels of offered spirits, your personalized signature cocktail.

Champagne Toast

Bartenders pour Champagne tableside for the first toast to the Bride and Groom.

Bottomless Bubbles

Bottomless glass of Champagne or Prosecco. A Champagne tower or sip and be seated tower is included. All add ins for Champagne cocktails are included.
